amazing staff great location clean bed unclean bathroom poor breakfast hanging pipe

the front office staff were amazing. natasha and ryan were polite. they were also hard workers. the location was great to visit the douthie park. the room was clean. the bed felt quite comfortable.

the bathroom pipes under the sink were hanging off. the breakfast was poor. the orange juice was just tesco straight from the carton. i had to make my own tea toast and porridge.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

poor isolation musty odor

My room had some notable drawbacks. The noise isolation was poor. I could clearly hear sounds from the adjacent room. there was a strange musty odor in the room (it wasn't overwhelming but noticeable). I also noticed the shower temperature was inconsistent.

Fantastic Stay!

central location friendly staff upgraded bathroom

The location is unbeatable! I found it a short walk from the bus and train stations. Exploring the city centre was so easy. The museums, galleries, and city gardens are very close. The staff were also friendly and check-in was simple. I was pleased my room was very clean with a comfy bed, and the bathroom was fully upgraded with a shower unit.

The walls seemed quite thin. I could hear conversations from the neighboring room.

The guesthouse is close to the bus and train stations. Many museums and galleries are nearby making it easy to explore the city centre. Several restaurants and shops are close by. This neighbourhood also provides a quiet atmosphere.

The rooms were very clean. Beds are comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms have a shower unit, great for a relaxing shower after a long day of exploring. The rooms provide an ideal space to relax and unwind.

easy check-in comfortable bed basic breakfast unpleasant smell cold water no refund

The check in was easy because of the coded key box. My room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Basic breakfast is provided and that included tea and coffee.

My room smelled unpleasant, it's true. The shower gave only cold water, I raised this at the reception. Staff said there a no refunds policy, they suggest checking facilities while staff can give another room.

the electric shower had a consistent temperature. the bedside shelf proved handy near the very comfortable bed.

the beverage bowl lacked sweeteners.
